Downloading GridSphere/Grid Portlets

GridSphere source code is available either as a binary or can be obtained from SVN.
The Grid Portlets web application puts the "Grid" in GridSphere. Grid Portlets builds upon the core features in the GridSphere portal framework to provide developers with a framework for developing Grid portals.

Available Portlet Applications

To deploy the provided portlet applications, you must have the GridSphere source code release. Place the portlet application in the projects directory of your gridsphere directory and unzip.

Finally, enter ant install in the portlet application directory and restart the servlet container.

Extras Web Application

Provides additional JSR 168 portlets for web clipping, file commander, banner, charts, poll and photo album. These portlets are intended to provide add-on functionality for GridSphere.

JSR Portlets Web Application

Provides a sample JSR 168 portlet application including Sun™ and IBM™ Bookmark and Weather portlets

JSF Portlets Web Application

Sun sample JSF "Hello, Duke" portlet.

Tapestry Hello World Portlet Application

Provides an example of how to write a simple portlet with Tapestry. Demonstrates the use of view, edit and help mode. Includes documentation.
